Issue 41:
Description
When Dell EqualLogic devices are discovered using the group IP, not all NICs of the members are
displayed in the Details tab. Alerts from all members, forwarded by the group lead, are not displayed
either on the Device Alerts tab or the Alerts portal. [049415]
Issue 42:
Description
When a Dell client device such as Dell OptiPlex, Dell Latitude, or Dell Precision with OM
CI 8.x installed is discovered using the WMI protocol, the Agents table in device details page displayed
the OMCI version as N/A. [16891]
Issue 43:
Description
When a XenServer is discovered using SSH, the MAC address is not displayed in the same column for the
IP address.
Alerts
OpenManage Essentials can receive and process alerts from systems with an IPv4 address format.
Issue 1:
Description
OpenManage Essentials may receive alerts with unknown severity from SonicWALL firewall devices.

Resolution
To change the severity of the alert, edit the alert/trap definition using the MIB Import Utility.
Issue 2:
Description
FluidFS alerts received from the controller or management member IP are not associated with the
corresponding Dell EqualLogic FS7500 NAS device. [39667]
Issue 3:
Description
If the intensity of an alert storm increases beyond 5 traps per second, it could take OpenManage
Essentials several minutes to process all the alerts. New alerts that are received in the interim are not
displayed on the console until all the alerts in the storm are processed.
Issue 4:
Description
Alert Actions: Application Launch alert actions do not show the application in interactive mode if the
Microsoft Windows "Interactive Service Detection" service is stopped. To see the applications, you have
to start the service.
Issue 5:
Description
Alerts are not received when the "SNMP Trap" service is stopped and started. To resolve the issue, restart
the “DSM Essentials Network Monitor” service.
