Introduction

Dell OpenManage Essentials is a hardware management application that provides a comprehensive view of Dell

systems, devices, and components in your environment. This document lists the agents, devices, operating systems, and

databases supported by Dell OpenManage Essentials Version 1.2.

Supported Agents

are available to perform firmware updates.

NOTE: To discovery and inventory iDRAC6 using

SNMP or IPMI, firmware version 1.0 is required.

NOTE: To deploy agent free BIOS and firmware

updates through iDRAC6 on Rack and Tower systems,

iDRAC6 version 1.4 or later and on Modular systems,

iDRAC6 firmware version 2.2 or later are required.
