Dell OpenManage Essentials provides a central point of access to monitor and manage systems on a local area network (LAN).
By allowing an administrator a comprehensive view across the enterprise, Essentials can increase system uptime, reduce
repetitive tasks, and prevent interruption in critical business operations.

- Support for Dell clients, PDU, UPS, and Dell Force10 switches.
- CLI support for automation of server discovery and grouping.
- Schedule views for tasks.
- Filtering groups on portal pages.
- Discovering Linux-based servers using SSH.

 Processor: 2 (1.8 GHz minimum)

Medium (up to 500 Managed Systems):
 Processor: Quad Core (1.8 GHz minimum)
 Memory: 6 GB
 Disk Space: at least 6 GB
 Database: SQL Server Express
 Database location: Local
Large (up to 2000 Managed Systems):
 Processor: 8 Core (1.8 GHz minimum)
 Memory: 8 GB
 Disk Space: at least 10 GB
 Database: SQL Server Standard
 Database location: Supports Remote SQL installation
NOTE:
 The disk space needed may increase based on the:
o Number of Dell Update Packages you import for software update.
o Number of MSI files you import for software deployment
 If Dell SupportAssist is installed along with OpenManage Essentials, you require 2 GB RAM, Dual core processors in
