InSystemCharacterization
Table 91. InSystemCharacterization
Valid Arguments
● On systems prior to YX2X: NA
● On YX2X and later systems: FastBoot, OptimizedBoot, Disabled
Description
In-System Characterization (ISC) runs during power-on self-test (POST) on
detecting relevant changes in the system configuration to optimize power and
performance. ISC takes about 20 seconds to run, and a system restart is required to
apply the system configuration changes. The FastBoot option runs ISC and
continues without applying ISC results until the next system restart. The
OptimizedBoot option runs ISC and forces an immediate system restart to apply
the results. If set to Disabled, ISC does not run.
Example:
A:>syscfg --InSystemCharacterization=FastBoot
InSystemCharacterization=FastBoot
60 SYSCFG
