--asset
None
Reports the customer-programmable asset tag number for a system. This
option displays the asset tag for a system. For Blade systems, the SYSCFG
utility reports the asset tag for both the server module and the asset tag
for its chassis. For more information on delimiters, see Command Line
Option Delimiters .
Example:
A:>syscfg --asset
asset=ASSET
--biosver*
None
Reports the BIOS version for a system. If used with the -s option, the
environment variable is set to the BIOS version.
Example:
A:>syscfg --biosver
biosver=A08
--chassvctag*
None
Reports the chassis service tag on blade systems.
Example:
A:>syscfg --chassvctag
chassvctag=SVCTAG1
--cpucount*
None
Reports the number of processors found on the system.
Example 1:
A:>syscfg --cpucount cpucount=1
Example 2:
A:>syscfg --cpucount cpucount=2
--cpuspeed*
None
Reports the speed of all processors in a system.
Example:
A:>syscfg --cpuspeed
cpuspeed=1000MHz
--envfile
<filename>
Reads the environment variable file (included in DTK as sys.ini ) and
sets environment variables to names in the file, based on the system's
information. Primarily, this command performs a PCI scan and matches the
vendor/device numbers of the devices to those specified in the
environment variable file. For more information, see the Environment
Variable File.
