Valid Arguments
On systems prior to 12G: read-only
On 12G and later systems: read-only
Description Reports or sets the customer-programmable asset tag number for a system. This value can
be replicated.
NOTE: The Asset Tag is a string assigned to a system, usually by an administrator,
for security or tracking purposes. The Asset Tag can be up to 10 characters long
and can contain only printable US-ASCII characters. For more information on
delimiters, see Command Line Option Delimiters.
Example:

Description
In-System Characterization (ISC) runs during power-on self-test (POST) on detecting
relevant changes in the system conguration to optimize power and performance. ISC takes
about 20 seconds to run, and a system restart is required to apply the system conguration
changes. The FastBoot option runs ISC and continues without applying ISC results until
