Sub Options And Arguments For tpm Option
The following table lists the sub-options and arguments for the tpm option.

tpm --tpmsecurity
o Does not report the presence of TPM to the operating
system.
onwithpbm Directs the BIOS to store the TCG compliant measurements
to the TPM during a POST operation.
onwithoutpbm Directs the BIOS to bypass the preboot measurements.
Example:
A:>syscfg tpm --tpmsecurity=onwithoutpbm
--setuppwdoverride
--tpmactivation
enabled Enables and activates the TPM feature.
disabled Disables and deactivates the TPM feature.
nochange Does not alter the operational state of the TPM feature.
Example:
A:>syscfg tpm --tpmactivation=enabled --
setuppwdoverride
NOTE: You cannot set tpmactivation when
tpmsecurity is set to o.
NOTE: After setting tpmactivation to enabled or
disabled, if you reboot your system, DTK displays
the TPM Configuration Honoured system
will reset and the system reboots
again message and reboots.
NOTE: When you set tpmactivation to enabled or
disabled, DTK displays the value of tpmactivation
as nochange. However, the TPM feature is
activated/deactivated when you reboot the
system.
--tpmclear
NA Clears the contents of the TPM chip without erasing the
tpmsecurity and tpmactivation settings.
Example:
A:>syscfg tpm --tpmactivation=enabled --
tpmclear --setuppwdoverride

NA
Cancels the result of the tpmclear setting. If you specify
