Valid Arguments <lename>
Description
Directs the SYSCFG utility to receive input from the xml le. The utility searches the BIOS
option in the le. An error is returned if the le is not found. The provided option must
match a valid option, and the arguments must be in the proper format for the option. If an
option is not available on a system and it is specied in a le, the utility ignores the option. If
any errors are found in the format of the names or values, an error is returned and the
options are not applied to the system. If this option is dependent on any other option, they
are applied in the order in which they appear in the xml le.
NOTE: It is applicable only on 12G and later systems.

A:>syscfg --ix filename.xml

Valid Arguments <lename>
Description Logs the command line output to a time-stamped le. The utility either appends the
information to an existing log le or creates a new le. The log le contains the same
information as the standard output, plus timestamp information. Users should use this
option instead of redirection for task diagnosis. For more information, see Log Files .

Description
Prints all replicable options to the specied lename. The format of the output is in the .ini
format, with the utility name as the section header. On PowerEdge 11G systems, if a le
with the same name already exists, the information is appended to the le, but on
