ix or inxmlle
Table 12. SYSCFG General — ix or inxmlle
Valid Arguments <lename>
Description
Directs the SYSCFG utility to receive input from the xml le. The utility searches the BIOS
option in the le. An error is returned if the le is not found. The provided option must
match a valid option, and the arguments must be in the proper format for the option. If an
option is not available on a system and it is specied in a le, the utility ignores the option. If
any errors are found in the format of the names or values, an error is returned and the
options are not applied to the system. If this option is dependent on any other option, they
are applied in the order in which they appear in the xml le.
NOTE: It is applicable only on 12G and later systems.
Example:
A:>syscfg --ix filename.xml
NOTE: You can modify or use the BIOS conguration captured in xml format from
a PowerEdge server for large scale deployment congurations using RACADM or
WS-MAN. For more information on using RACADM and WS-MAN refer

Valid Arguments <lename>

information to an existing log le or creates a new le. The log le contains the same
information as the standard output, plus timestamp information. Users should use this
option instead of redirection for task diagnosis. For more information, see Log Files .
Example:
A:>syscfg -l logfile --option=<filename>
o or outle

outle
Valid Arguments <lename>
Description
Prints all replicable options to the specied lename. The format of the output is in the .ini
format, with the utility name as the section header. On PowerEdge 11G systems, if a le
with the same name already exists, the information is appended to the le, but on
