Valid Arguments
• On systems prior to 12G: enabled, disabled, nochange
• On 12G systems: NoChange, Activate, Deactivate
Description
Allows the user to change the operational state of the Trusted Platform Module (TPM). This
eld is read-only when TPM Security is set to Off.
NOTE: The tpmactivation option is a sub-option of tpm.

Description
CAUTION: Clearing the TPM will cause loss of all keys in the TPM. This could aect booting of
the operating system.
When set to Yes, all the contents of the TPM will be cleared. This eld is read-only when TCMSecurity
is set to Off.
