W2K12INST.BAT Performs an unattended installation of
supported Windows Server 2012
operating systems.
NOTE: From Windows Server
2012 onwards, Server Core is
the default deployment
conguration setting. However,
you can modify the xml les to
change the setting.
TKENVSET.BAT — Used by W2K12INST.BAT to inform the task
scripts about where to nd the DTK utilities, scripts, and
conguration les.
SETUP.EXE — Used by W2K12INST.BAT to install the operating
system with the UNATTEND.XML answer le.
UNATTEND2K12.XML — Used by W2K12INST.BAT with
SETUP.EXE to install the operating system les in BIOS mode.
UNATTEND2K12_UEFI.XML — Used by W2K12INST.BAT with
SETUP.EXE to install the operating system les in UEFI mode.
W2K16INST.BAT Performs an unattended installation of
supported Windows Server 2012 R2
operating systems.
NOTE: From Windows Server

NOTE: Both grub and grub2 use the following images with the
unattended answer le to perform unattended operations:
initial ramdisk — Available on the Dell Systems Build and Update
Utility.
kernel image — Available on the Linux operating system media.
ks-rhel6.cfg — Used by lininst.sh with grub to install the Red Hat
Enterprise Linux Server (versions 6) operating system les in BIOS mode.
ks_rhel6_ue.cfg — Used by lininst.sh with grub2 to install the Red Hat
Enterprise Linux Server (versions 6) operating system les in UEFI mode.
ks-rhel7.cfg — Used by lininst.sh with grub to install the Red Hat
Enterprise Linux Server (versions 7) operating system les in BIOS mode.
ks_rhel7_ue.cfg — Used by lininst.sh with grub2 to install the Red Hat
Enterprise Linux Server (versions 7) operating system les in UEFI mode.
suseinst.sh Performs an unattended
installation of a supported
SUSE Linux Enterprise
Server operating system.
