NOTE: The asterisk indicates that the device is enabled in the BIOS.

BootMode/bootmode

Valid Arguments
• On systems prior to 12G: ue, bios
• On 12G and later systems: Ue, Bios
Description
Determines the boot mode of the system. Allows booting to Unied Extensible
Firmware Interface (UEFI) -capable operating systems or ensures compatibility with
operating systems that do not support UEFI.
NOTE: If boot mode is modied, reboot the system before executing the OS
installation scripts.

BootSeqRetry/bootseqretry

Valid Arguments
• On systems prior to 12G: enable, disable
• On 12G and later systems: Enabled, Disabled
Description Enables or disables the boot sequence retry feature. When set to enable, the system
re-attempts to set the boot order after a 30-second time-out if the last boot attempt
has failed. This option can be replicated.
