Release Notes
• A Linux workstation that has at least 200 MB of free hard-drive space.
• When building customized Linux ISOs, you might need to incorporate the following Red Hat Package Managers (RPMs)
provided by DTK to ensure a successful build:
– dtk-scripts
– raidcfg
– syscfg
• If you have the DTK CD mounted under "/mnt/cdrom," you can extract the DTK RPMs to build your customized ISO image
under the "RPMs" folder at the root of the CD.
Operating Systems Requirements
Using DTK utilities you can deploy the following Linux operating systems:
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.2 (64–bit)
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.7 (64–bit)
• CentOS 6.7 (64–bit)
• CentOS 7.0 (64–bit)
NOTE: CentOS deployment is supported only on DSS1510, DSS1500, DSS2500 platforms.
• SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12 SP1(64–bit)
• SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 SP4 (64–bit)
What’s New
The new features for this release include:
• DTK to RACADM converter — An utility added to convert the existing DTK SYSCFG deployment scripts to equivalent RACADM
scripts which helps in the seamless migration to utilize RACADM in deployment solution.
NOTE: This release covers support for some more selected sets of the SYSCFG commands which are part of the
DTK sample scripts. For more information, see the
