Table 193. EnergyPerformanceBias (continued)
Example:
A:>syscfg --EnergyPerformanceBias=MaxPower
UncoreFrequency
Table 194. UncoreFrequency
Valid Arguments
On systems prior to Dells YX3X systems: NA
On Dells YX3X and later systems: DynamicUFS, MaxUFS, MinUFS
Description
Sets the processor uncore frequency. Dynamic mode allows the processor to
optimize power resources across the cores and uncore during runtime. The
optimization of the uncore frequency to either save power or to optimize the
performance is dependent on the EnergyPerformanceBias option setting.
Example:
A:>syscfg --UncoreFrequency=DynamicUFS
System Security
You can manage the system security properties of the BIOS using the options in this group.
--AcPwrRcvry/--acpower
Valid Arguments
On systems prior to 12G: on, off, last
On 12G and later systems: On, Off, Last
Description Sets the behavior for the system after AC power is lost. This option specifies how
the system responds to the restoration of AC power and is particularly useful in
systems that are turned off using a power strip. When set to on, the system turns
on after AC is restored. When set to off, the system does not turn on after AC
is restored. When set to last, the system turns on if the system was on when AC
power was lost; if the system was off when AC power was lost, the system remains
off when power is restored. This option can be replicated.
Example:
A:>syscfg --acpower=on
acpower=on
Applicable Systems All PowerEdge systems.
AcPwrRcvryDelay
Table 195. AcPwrRcvryDelay
Valid Arguments
On systems prior to 12G: NA
On 12G and later systems: Immediate, User, Random
Description
Specifies how the system supports the staggering of power-up after AC power has
been restored to the system.
