If you have the DTK CD mounted under "/mnt/cdrom," you can extract the DTK RPMs to build your
customized ISO image under the "RPMs" folder at the root of the CD.
Operating System Requirements
Using DTK utilities you can deploy the following Linux operating systems:
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.0 (64–bit)
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.5 (64–bit)
• SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 SP3 (64–bit)
What’s New
Note: DTK version 5.0.1 is supported only on the following systems:
• Dell PowerEdge R730
• PowerEdge R730xd
• PowerEdge R630
• PowerEdge T630
• Dell Precision R7910
The new features for this release include:
• DTK supports installation of following operating system on Dell Precision R7910:
o BIOS mode: Windows 7 (32-bit) using Windows PE 3.0(32-bit), Windows 7 (64-bit) using
Windows PE 4.0(64-bit), and Windows 8.1 (64-bit) using Windows PE 5.0(64-bit)
o UEFI mode :Windows 7 (64-bit) using Windows PE 4.0(64-bit) and Windows 8.1 (64-bit)
using Windows PE 5.0(64-bit)
• RAIDCFG configuration supports the following options configured through RAID controller
BIOS:
o Manage Preserved Cache
o Expand VD Size
o Secure VD
o Security Key Management
• RAIDCFG extends support to following Dell PERC 9 controllers:
• PERC H830 Adapter
• PERC H330 Adapter
• PERC H330 Embedded
• PERC H730 Adapter
• PERC H730P Adapter
• PERC H330 Mini Monolithic
• PERC H730 Mini Monolithic
• PERC H730P Mini Monolithic
• Support for PERC S130 controller.
