What’s New
The new features for this release include:
Support for deployment of Linux operating system in Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI)
mode.
Using DTK utilities you can deploy the following operating systems:
o Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.4 (64bit) in BIOS and UEFI mode
o Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.9 (64bit and 32bit) in BIOS mode
o SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 SP2 in UEFI mode
o You can install DTK Linux RPM utilities on the following operating systems:
o Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.4 (64bit)
o Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.9 (64bit and 32bit)
Support for Microsoft Windows Server 2012 Essentials (64bit).
Software RAID (only PERC S110 controller) support for the installation of Windows Server 2012
(64bit).
Support for detecting the type of Chassis Management Controller (CMC). For more details, see
the Dell OpenManage Deployment Toolkit Command Line Interface Reference Guide available at
dell.com/openmanagemanuals.
Support for setting and displaying the Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIe) link
speed of the controller. For more details, see the Dell OpenManage Deployment Toolkit

Support for the following Dell PowerVault Network Attached Servers (NAS):
o Dell PowerVault NX3300
o PowerVault NX3200
o PowerVault NX3000
o PowerVault NX3100
o PowerVault NX400
o PowerVault NX300
o PowerVault NX200
Deprecated support for the following operating systems:
o Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.3 (64bit)
o Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.8 (64bit and 32bit)

Important Notes
SYSCFG
Some options may not be present on all systems, which may be due to the BIOS version or hardware
feature set. The usage information generated by running SYSCFG without arguments shows only those
options that are valid for your system.
The "--devseq" option is present only if you have an available, bootable hard-disk partition. If this option
is present in the configuration file, but not present on your system, you will receive a usage error.
To enable certain options, to reboot your system. Dell recommends you use the "reboot" command on
shell prompt or press the "Ctrl+Alt+Del" keys.
