Creating Operating System Installation Directories for Supported Windows Operating Systems
NOTE: The following procedures are provided as a best practices guideline for creating operating system
distribution folders compatible with the DTK sample scripts. For complete instructions on setting up an installation
directory structure for an unattended installation, see your operating system documentation.
For deployment of supported Windows operating systems, perform the following steps:
1
Create an operating system-specific directory in the root directory of the network share. For example,
for Windows 2000 Server operating system source files, you can use the following directory name:
Z:\W2Ksrc
2
Create a
\I386
directory in the
\W2Ksrc
directory.
