Sample Configuration Files
Table 3-2 describes examples of configuration files used to perform a scripted deployment. These files are
located in Z:\Dell\Toolkit\template\Configs folder.
NOTE: All configuration files are provided as examples only. These sample configuration files must be edited
before they can be used in any deployment tasks.
SYSCFG.EXE
Reports and configures:
BIOS settings and options
BMC settings and options
RAC 5 settings and options
Maintains system state between reboots
Reports hardware devices and other system-related information
SyscfgErrorCodes.txt Lists the error codes and messages for the SYSCFG.EXE tool.
sysdrmk.exe Used by UPINIT.BAT to patch the boot sector and Master Boot Record (MBR).
UpinitErrorCodes.txt Lists the error codes and messages for UPINIT.BAT.
version.txt Contains the DTK version in use.

UNATTEND.TXT file is edited.
WINBOM.INI Sample file used to start the racsvc and
mr2kserv services.

WINPEOEM.SIF Sample file to add support for Dell mass
storage drivers.
