Dell Computer Group Listing View
In this view, you can see the grouping of Dell systems in a Dell Computer Group.
To view only the Dell Computer Group, in the MOM Operations console Group toolbar, select
Dell
Computers.
The systems are represented in the Topology View with a Dell system icon. For every system in the
Computer Group view, the unresolved alerts status of that particular system is represented with a state
component icon. The status displayed is the most critical status of all open alerts generated by the
Dell
system. See Figure 4-3 for an example of the Dell Computer Group Listing View. Move the mouse
over the system icon to view tooltip details about the following:
• Dell service tag: An alphanumeric number that uniquely identifies each system in the event that you
need to call for customer or technical support
• Dell asset tag: An individual code assigned to a system, usually by a system administrator, for security
or tracking purposes
• Dell system IP address: The IP address of the Dell system in the network
• Dell server operating system: The operating system installed on the Dell system
• Dell server model type: The PowerEdge or PowerVault system model name
• Dell BIOS: The BIOS version installed on the Dell system
• Dell Server Administrator version: The version of Server Administrator running on the system
• Dell Server BMC IP address: The IP address of the BMC
• Dell Server IPMI version: The version of IPMI running on the system
• Dell Server RAC URL: The launch point of the DRAC
NOTE: If tooltips are not populated for Dell systems, ensure that the common information model (CIM) Dell
namespace is not corrupted and Dell Services are not down. Restart the Dell managed system or re-install Server
Administrator to correct the CIM behavior.
