Event Views
The Event Views are available in the MOM Operators Console.
To launch the MOM Operators Console, select Operations in the left tree view of the MOM
Administrator Console and click the Start Operators Console link in the right pane view.

tab.

Dell OpenManage
in the
MOM Operators Console
tree.
The
Array Manager Events View
and the
Server Administrator Events View
appear.
The Array Manager Events View displays all the events generated by Array Manager for a managed
Dell
system. To view the associated alerts in this view, select the Alert tab and double-click the alert that
was generated due to this event.
The Server Administrator Events View displays all events generated by a Server Administrator for a
managed Dell system. To view the associated alerts in this view, select the Alert tab and double-click the
alert that was generated due to this event.
Dell Topology View
All Dell systems on the network are displayed diagrammatically on the MOM console. You can view
operational data within MOM and Dell system attributes. The topology views are represented in the
MOM Consoles as diagram views.
Table 4-2. State Components and Severity Levels
State Component Severity Level
Normal/OK. The component is working as expected.
Warning/Noncritical. A probe or other monitoring device has detected a reading for the
component that is above or below the acceptable level. The component may still be
functioning, but it could fail. The component may also be functioning in an impaired state.
Data loss is possible.
Service Unavailable. Requires immediate attention. Data loss may have occurred.
White The component is not applicable for the specific server.
Grey The state cannot be determined because the server is in the Service Unavailable state.
