Troubleshooting
This section lists the problems that you may encounter while using the Dell
OpenManage Connection for IBM Tivoli Netcool/OMNIbus.
Dell Server Events Not Received at the
Netcool/OMNIbus Console
• Verify that the following entries are included in the SNMP probe rules file:

include "$NC_RULES_HOME/include-
snmptrap/dell/dell.master.include.rules"
– include "$NC_RULES_HOME/include-
snmptrap/dell/dell.master.include.lookup"
• Verify that the following entries are included in the
dell.master.include.lookup file:
– include "$NC_RULES_HOME/include-
snmptrap/dell/dell-MIB-Dell-
10892.include.snmptrap.lookup"
– include "$NC_RULES_HOME/include-
snmptrap/dell/dell-StorageManagement-
MIB.include.snmptrap.lookup"
• Verify that the following entries are included in the
dell.master.include.rules file:
