* If you have installed CA Unicenter version 3.0 or v3.1 in a
distributed environment, then install Connection version 3.2 only on
the system where the DSM component is installed. A message prompts
you to run the "resetdsm" and "awservices" start commands after the
installation is complete.
* To support proper formatting of PET alerts sent from PowerEdge
"x8xx" systems or later with a Baseboard Management Controller (BMC),
modify "%AGENTWORKS_DIR%\SERVICES\CONFIG\AWS_SNMP\AWWS_SNMP.CFG" as
follows:
- Set aws_snmp to bind to port 162 to listen for traps by setting
the "USE_MGMT_API" property to "No" as follows:
USE_MGMT_API NO
- Add the following line beneath the corresponding BIN_OID
definitions:
BIN_OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.3183.1.1.1
- Make sure that the Windows "SNMP Trap Service" is either not
installed or is disabled.
Stop and restart "awservices" by running the "awservices stop"
command followed by the "awservices start" command.
