Property Description
Name
The Name property defines the label by which the object is known to the world
outside the data processing system. This label is a human-readable name that
uniquely identifies the element in the context of the element's namespace.
PreferredProtocol
This is a field which is used to indicate which protocol is the preferred method for
gathering management information. This is value is set by the instrumentation
based on performance and features of protocols available.
Product
The name of the Systems Management Software product that instruments this
component.
ProductName
Commonly used Product name
SupportedProtocols
This is a bit map field which is used to list protocols which can be used to access
the systems management information. This is a bit map where a value of 1
indicates that the protocol is supported. Values are based on the Protocol Type
enum.
Possible values are:
• 0=SNMP
• 1=DMI
• 2=CIMOM
NOTE: Multiple bits are set if more than one attribute applies.
Vendor
The name of the Product's supplier. Corresponds to the Vendor property in the
Product object in the DMTF Solution Exchange Standard.
Version
The version for the Systems Management Software.

CreationClassName
Creation Class Name indicates the name of the class or the subclass used in the creation

all instances of this class and its subclasses to be uniquely identified.

Location
The location of this system.
Name
The inherited Name serves as key of a system instance in an enterprise environment.
OperatingSystem
This is the operating system which is installed and running on the system.
Possible values are:
• 1 = Other
• 2 = Unknown
• 3 = Windows NT
• 4 = Windows 95
• 5 = IBM OS/2
• 6 = SCO UNIX
