Information
This section provides information about disk partition, logical disks, operating systems, system, and so on. Table 1-3 lists the Dell OMCI Information classes
and properties.

BuildNumber The build number of this Systems Management Software product.
Caption The caption of the device.
Description A description of this Systems Management Software product.
IdentifyingNumber Product identification such as a serial number on software or a die number on a hardware chip
Name
Defines the label by which the object is known to the world outside the data processing system. This label is a human-
readable name that uniquely identifies the element in the context of the element's namespace.
PreferredProtocol This is a field which is used to indicate which protocol is the preferred method for gathering management information. This is
value is set by the instrumentation based on performance and features of protocols available.
Product The name of the Systems Management Software product that instruments this component.
ProductName Commonly used Product name
SupportedProtocols This is a bit map field which is used to list protocols which can be used to access the systems management information. This is
a bit map where a value of 1 indicates that the protocol is supported. Values are based on the Protocol Type enum.
The possible bit values are:
0 - SNMP
1 - DMI
2 - CIMOM
Note: Multiple bits are set if more than one attribute applies.
Vendor The name of the Product's supplier. Corresponds to the Vendor property in the Product object in the DMTF Solution Exchange
Standard.
Version The version for the Systems Management Software.

AssetTag The Asset tag of the system.
BIOSDate The BIOS release date.
BIOSVersion BIOS Version number of this system.
Caption The caption of the device.
CreationClassName
Indicates the name of the class or the subclass used in the creation of an instance. When used with the other key properties of
this class, this property allows all instances of this class and its subclasses to be uniquely identified.
Description A short description of the device.
Location The location of this system.
Name The inherited Name serves as key of a system instance in an enterprise environment.
OperatingSystem This is the operating system which is installed and running on the system.
Possible values are:
1 - Other
2 - Unknown
3 - Windows NT
4 - Windows 95
5 - IBM OS/2
6 - SCO UNIX
7 - Netware Windows 98
8 - Windows ME
9 - Windows 2000
10 - Windows XP
11 - Windows Server 2003
12 - Windows Vista (R)
13 - Windows Server (R) 2008
14 - Windows 7
15 - Windows Server 2008 R2
PowerManagementSupported Boolean indicating that the computer system, with its running operating system, supports power management. This boolean
does not indicate that power management features are currently enabled, or if enabled, what features are supported. Refer to
the PowerManagementCapabilities array for this information. If this boolean is false, the integer value 1 for the string, Not
Supported, should be the only entry in the PowerManagementCapabilities array.
PrimaryOwnerContact A string that provides information on how the primary system owner can be reached. For example, phone number, email
address.
PrimaryOwnerName The name of the primary system owner.
ProcessorSpeed The current processor speed.
ProcessorType The family of processors to which this processor belongs.

5 - 80386
6 - 80486
7 - 8087
8 - 80287
