Dell_Battery
BatteryStatus Description of the Battery's charge status. Values such as "Fully Charged" (value=3) or "Partially Charged" (11) can be specified. The value, 10, is not valid in the CIM Schema since in DMI it represents that no
battery is installed. In this case, this object should not be instantiated.
The following values are defined:
1 = Other
2 = Unknown
3 = Fully Charged
4 = Low
5 = Critical
6 = Charging
7 = Charging and High
8 = Charging and Low
9 = Charging and Critical
10 = Undefined
11 = Partially Charged
Caption The caption of the device.
Chemistry An enumeration that describes the Battery's chemistry.
The following values are defined:
1 = Other
2 = Unknown
3 = Lead Acid
4 = Nickel Cadmium
5 = Nickel Metal Hydride
6 = Lithium-ion
7 = Zinc air
8 = Lithium Polymer
CreationClassName Creation class name indicates the name of the class or the subclass used in the creation of an instance. When used with the other key properties of this class, this property allows all instances of this class and
its subclasses to be uniquely identified.
Description A short description of the device.
DesignCapacity The design capacity of the battery in mWatt-hours. If this property is not supported, enter 0.
DesignVoltage The design voltage of the battery in mVolts. If this attribute is not supported, enter 0.
DeviceID An address or other identifying information to uniquely name the logical device.
EstimatedChargeRemaining An estimate of the percentage of full charge remaining.
EstimatedRunTime EstimatedRunTime is an estimate in minutes of the time to battery charge depletion under the present load conditions if the utility power is off, or lost and remains off, or a Laptop is disconnected from a
power source.
FullChargeCapacity The full charge capacity of the battery in mWatt-hours. Comparison of this value to the Battery DesignCapacity determines when the Battery requires replacement. A Battery's end of life is typically when the
FullChargeCapacity falls below 80% of the DesignCapacity. If this property is not supported, enter 0.
Location The location of the battery
ManufactureDate The battery manufacture date.
Manufacturer The name of the company that manufactured the battery.
MaximumError The maximum error (as a percentage) in the Watt-hour data reported by the battery. The maximum error indicates the upper bound on how much additional energy the battery may have above the energy it
reports having. When this value exceeds some value, for instance, 10%, some action must be taken (for instance, fully discharge then fully charge the battery) within some specified time (for instance, within
two recharge cycles of the battery). If the action is not taken within the time frame, the error value will continue to rise. If this property is not supported, value = -1
Name The Name property defines the label by which the object is known. When subclassed, the Name property can be overridden to be a Key property.
RemainingCapacity The battery's remaining capacity in mWatt-hours. This value is used with Design Capacity or Full Charge Capacity to calculate fuel gauge information.If this property is not supported, value = -1.
SerialNumber The serial number for this battery.
SmartBatteryVersion The Smart Battery Data Specification version number supported by this Battery. If the Battery does not support this function, the value should be left blank.
Status This property indicates the current status of the logical device.
The following values are defined:
OK
Error
Degraded
Unknown
Pred Fail
Starting
Stopping
Service
Stressed
NonRecover
No Contact
Lost Comm
Stopped
SystemCreationClassName The scoping System's Creation class name.
SystemName The scoping System's Name.
TimetoFullCharge The remaining time to charge the battery fully in minutes at the current charging rate and usage.
TotalPowerOnHours The total number of hours that this Device has been powered.
Dell_CacheMemory
Associativity An integer enumeration defining the system cache associativity. For example, 6 indicates a fully associative cache.
The following values are defined:
1 = Other
