Dell Client Configuration Toolkit (CCTK) is a packaged software offering that provides configuration capability to Dell client systems such as OptiPlex, Latitude, and Dell Precision workstation. You can configure the client systems using a Graphical User Interface (GUI) or a Command Line Interface (CLI).

Issue 8: Description: When you execute cctk.exe on Microsoft Windows XP Professional or Microsoft Windows XP Professional SP2, a blue screen may appear. Resolution: This is a known Microsoft issue and Microsoft provides a fix for this. For more information, refer to http://www:support.microsoft.com/kb/921337. Issue 9: Description: Following are the known issues on OptiPlex 740: • • • floppy option does not work. usbemu option does not work.
Issue 18: Description: CCTK allows enabling ‘Legacy Option ROM’ when ‘Secure Boot’ is on. However, there is no negative impact due to this on the BIOS. This issue will be addressed in the upcoming BIOS version. Issue 19: Description: CCTK allows disabling ‘Legacy Option ROM’ when ‘Boot mode’ is Legacy. However, there is no negative impact due to this on the BIOS. This issue will be addressed in the upcoming BIOS version.
Issue 4: Description: On successive attempts to invoke the CCTK GUI, the following error message is displayed: "Object reference not set to an instance of an object". Resolution: Click 'Continue' to access the GUI. Issue 5: Description: In rare circumstances, when .NET libraries may not have loaded correctly, exporting SCE gives an error message like "Unexpected Error ". This does not affect the CCTK functionality. Resolution: Issue 15: Do export again and it will be successful.
