Installing Essentials and VMM on Different Systems

This installation option allows you to integrate Essentials and VMM installed

on multiple systems.

Install Essential on the management station. For more information, see

"Installing Essentials on a Dell PowerEdge System."

After installing Essentials, you must create a hard link using fsutil.exe tool.

See "Creating Hard Link Using fsutil.exe."

Install VMM 2008 Server. For more information, see

Install VMM user console and integrate the Essentials system by running

the Configuration Operations Manager wizard from the VMM Installation

CD on the Essentials Host.
