Configuring Essentials 2007 SP1 Integration With VMM 2008

Run the setup from the System Center Virtual Machine Manager 2008 DVD

and select Configure Operations Manager.

This setup wizard automatically performs the following configuration items:

• Imports the management packs into Essentials database, required

for integration.

• Grants necessary access to your Essentials server.

• Installs the VMM console.

Logging Into the VMM Console and Connecting to your VMM server

Open the

Administration

tab and select

System Center

from the left

pane.

Right-click

Operations Manager Server

on the central pane.

Click

Modify

In the

Operations Manager Server

window, type the name of the

Essentials server and click
