Usage
Information
Use this command to include the vendor-class identifier (option 60) in DHCP packets sent by the client.
This option is used by DHCP clients to identify the vendor type and configuration of a DHCP client. The
vendor-class identifier includes hardware-related information that identifies the switch and includes a
user-configurable text string .
You can enter the ip address dhcp relay information-option and ip address dhcp
relay vendor-class-identfier commands in the same ip address dhcp command line; for
example:
ip address dhcp vendor-class-identifier dell9500 relay information-option
mac
ip address dhcp relay information-option mac vendor-class-identifier
dell9500

Syntax
lease {days [hours] [minutes] | infinite}
Parameters
days
Enter the number of days of the lease. The range is from 0 to 31.
hours
Enter the number of hours of the lease. The range is from 0 to 23.
minutes
Enter the number of minutes of the lease. The range is from 0 to 59.
infinite Specify that the lease never expires.
Defaults 24 hours
