Usage
Information
All neighboring routers in the same network must use the same password to exchange OSPF
information.
ip ospf cost
Change the cost associated with the OSPF traffic on an interface.

Syntax
ip ospf cost cost
To return to default value, use the no ip ospf cost command.
Parameters
cost
Enter a number as the cost. The range is 1 to 65535.
Defaults The default cost is based on the reference bandwidth.

Information
If this command is not configured, cost is based on the auto-cost command.
When you configure OSPF over multiple vendors, use the ip ospf cost command to
ensure that all routers use the same cost. Otherwise, OSPF routes improperly.

seconds
Enter the number of seconds for the interval. The range is 1 to 65535.
The default is 40 seconds.
