Parameters

dist3
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword external followed by a number to
specify a distance for external type 5 and 7 routes. The range is 1 to
255. The default is 110.
inter-area
dist2
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keywords inter-area followed by a number
to specify a distance metric for routes between areas. The range is 1
to 255. The default is
110.
intra-area
dist1
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keywords intra-area followed by a number
to specify a distance metric for all routes within an area. The range is
1 to 255. The default is 110.

Usage
Information
To specify a distance for routes learned from other routing domains, use the redistribute
command.
distribute-list in
Apply a filter to incoming routing updates from OSPF to the routing table.

distribute-list prefix-list-name in [interface-type slot/port]
To delete a filter, use the no distribute-list prefix-list-name in
[interface-type slot/port] command.
Parameters
prefix-list-name

Enter the name of a configured prefix list followed by the keyword in.
interface-type
slot/port
(OPTIONAL) Enter the interface type and slot/port or number
information. Valid slot numbers are 0-11. The valid port numbers for
each interface type are listed below.
For a 10-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword
tengigabitethernet followed by slot/port numbers.
The port range is 0 to 63.
For a 40-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword
fortyGigE followed by slot/port numbers. The ports are 48,
52, 56, and 60.
