• + = (plus) the sequences in a pattern (1 or more sequences).
• ? = (question mark) sequences in a pattern (either 0 or 1
sequences).
NOTE: You must enter an escape sequence (CTRL+v) prior
to entering the ? regular expression.
• [ ] = (brackets) a range of single-character patterns.
• ^ = (caret) the beginning of the input string. If the caret is
used at the beginning of a sequence or range, it matches on
everything BUT the characters specified.
• $ = (dollar sign) the end of the output string.

timers bgp
Allows you to adjust the BGP network timers for all neighbors.
S5000
Syntax
timers bgp keepalive holdtimer
To return to the default values, use the no timers bgp command.
Parameters
keepalive
Enter the time interval (in seconds) between keepalive messages. The
range is 1 to 65535. The default is 60 seconds.
holdtimer
Enter the time interval (in seconds) that the S5000 waits since the last
keepalive message before declaring a BGP peer dead. The range is 3
to 65535. The default is 180 seconds.
Defaults
• keepalive = 60 seconds
• holdtimer = 180 seconds
