Usage
Information
Any update without a MED attribute is the least preferred route.
If you enable this command, use the capture bgp-pdu max-buffer-size *
command to recompute the best path.
bgp bestpath as-path ignore
Ignore the AS PATH in BGP best path calculations.

Syntax
bgp bestpath as-path ignore
To return to the default, use the no bgp bestpath as-path ignore command.
Defaults Disabled (that is, the software considers the AS_PATH when choosing a route as best).

Enable MULTI_EXIT_DISC (MED) attribute comparison on paths learned from BGP confederations.

bgp bestpath med confed
To disable MED comparison on BGP confederation paths, use the no bgp bestpath med
confed command.
