Data Center Bridging (DCB)
Data center bridging (DCB) refers to a set of IEEE Ethernet enhancements that provide data centers with a single, robust,
converged network to support multiple traffic types, including local area network (LAN), server, and storage traffic.
FTOS commands for data center bridging features include 802.1Qbb priority-based flow control (PFC), 802.1Qaz
enhanced transmission selection (ETS), and the data center bridging exchange (DCBx) protocol.
This chapter includes the following sections:
• DCB Command
• PFC Commands
• ETS Commands
• DCBx Commands
DCB Command
The following DCB command is supported on the S5000 platform.
advertise dcbx-appln-tlv
On a DCBx port with a manual role, configure the application priority TLVs advertised on the interface to DCBx peers.
S5000
