stack-unit priority
Configure the ability of an S5000 switch to become the management unit of a stack.
S5000
Syntax
stack-unit unit-number priority priority-level
Parameters
unit-number
Enter the stack-unit number. The range is 0 to 11.
priority
priority-
level
Specify the management priority assigned to the switch, where 1 is
the lowest priority and 14 is the highest priority. The switch with the
highest priority value is selected as the management unit if the active
management unit fails or on the next reload.

stack-unit provision
Pre-configure a logical stack-unit number for an S5000 switch to join the stack. This is an optional command that is
executed on the management unit.

stack-unit unit-number provision S5000
Parameters
unit-number
Enter the stack-unit number. The range is 0 to 11.
S5000 Enter the model identifier of the switch to be added as a stack
member. This identifier is also referred to as the
provision type
.
