To view the routing protocols configuration, use the show ip protocols command in EXEC mode.

To configure an interface to receive or send both versions of RIP, include 1 and 2 in the command syntax. The
command syntax for sending both RIPv1 and RIPv2 and receiving only RIPv2 is shown in the following
example.
Dell(conf-if)#ip rip send version 1 2
Dell(conf-if)#ip rip receive version 2
The following example of the show ip protocols command confirms that both versions are sent out that
interface. This interface no longer sends and receives the same RIP versions as Dell Networking OS does
globally (shown in bold).
