Parameters
vrf
vrf-name
(Optional) Enter the keyword vrf followed by the name of the VRF to enable the debug
information on IS-IS for an adjacency tied to that VRF. This command displays the IIH
related debug details.
interface
(OPTIONAL) Identifies the interface type and the interface information:
For a 1-GigabitEthernet interface, enter the keyword GigabitEthernet then the
slot/port information.
For a 10-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword TenGigabitEthernet then
the slot/port information.
For a port channel interface, enter the keywords port-channel then a number.
For a VLAN interface, enter the keyword vlan then a number from 1 to 4094.

debug isis local-updates
To debug IS-IS local update packets, enable debugging on a specific interface and provides diagnostic information.
Syntax
debug isis [vrf vrf-name] local-updates [interface]
To turn off debugging, use the no debug isis [vrf vrf—name] updates [interface] command.
Parameters
vrf
vrf-name
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword vrf followed by the name of the VRF to enable the
debugging information on IS-IS corresponding to that VRF. This information contains local
updates tied to the VRF that you specify. This command displays the local LSP debugging
details of the current unit.
interface
(OPTIONAL) Identifies the interface type as one of the following:
