Usage
Information
The following describes the show ntp associations command shown in the Example below.
Field Description
(none) One or more of the following symbols could be displayed:
* means synchronized to this peer.
# means almost synchronized to this peer.
+ means the peer was selected for possible synchronization.
- means the peer is a candidate for selection.
~ means the peer is statically configured.
remote Displays the remote IP address of the NTP peer.
ref clock Displays the IP address of the remote peers reference clock.
st Displays the peers stratum, that is, the number of hops away from the external
time source. A 16 in this column means the NTP peer cannot reach the time source.
when Displays the last time the switch received an NTP packet.
poll Displays the polling interval (in seconds).
reach Displays the reachability to the peer (in octal bitstream).
delay Displays the time interval or delay for a packet to complete a round-trip to the NTP
time source (in milliseconds).
offset Displays the relative time of the NTP peers clock to the switch clock (in
milliseconds).
disp Displays the dispersion.
