ip pim register-filter
To prevent a PIM source DR from sending register packets to an RP for the specified multicast source and group, use this
feature.
Syntax
ip pim [vrf vrf-name] register-filter access-list
To return to the default, use the no ip pim [vrf vrf-name] register-filter access-list
command.
Parameters
vrf
vrf-name
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword vrf followed by the name of the VRF.
NOTE: Applies to specific VRF if input is provided, else applies to Default VRF.
access-list
Enter the name of an extended access list. Maximum 16 characters.
Defaults Not configured.

Usage
Information
The access name is an extended IP access list that denies PIM register packets to RP at the source DR
based on the multicast and group addresses. Do not enter this command before creating the access-list.
ip pim rp-address
Configure a static PIM rendezvous point (RP) address for a group or access-list.
Syntax
ip pim [vrf vrf-name] rp-address address {group-address group-address mask}
[override]
To remove an RP address, use the no ip pim [vrf vrf-name] rp-address address
{group-address group-address mask} [override] command.
