Usage Information
The advertise dot3–tlv power—via—mdi command enables the system to advertise IEEE 802.3 at
power-via-mdi TLV to advertise its power negotiation capabilities with the powered devices via Link Layer
Discovery Protocol (LLDP). You can configure this command either on a specific interface or globally.

advertise management-tlv
Advertise management TLVs (Type, Length, Value).
Syntax
advertise management-tlv {management-address | system-capabilities | system-
description | system-name}
To remove advertised management TLVs, use the no advertise management-tlv {management-
address | system-capabilities | system-description | system-name} command.
Parameters
management-
address
Enter the keyword management-address to advertise the management IP address TLVs
to the LLDP peer.
system-
capabilities
Enter the keywords system-capabilities to advertise the system capabilities TLVs
to the LLDP peer.
system-
description
Enter the keywords system-description to advertise the system description TLVs
to the LLDP peer.
system-name Enter the keywords system-name to advertise the system name TLVs to the LLDP
peer.
