distance
Assign a weight (for prioritization) to all routes in the RIP routing table or to a specific route. Lower weights (“administrative distance”)
are preferred.
Syntax
distance weight [ip-address mask [prefix-name]]
To return to the default values, use the no distance weight [ip-address mask] command.
Parameters
weight
Enter a number from 1 to 255 for the weight (for prioritization). The default is 120.
ip-address
(OPTIONAL) Enter the IP address, in dotted decimal format (A.B.C.D), of the host or
network to receive the new distance metric.
mask
If you enter an IP address, also enter a mask for that IP address, in either dotted decimal
format or /prefix format (/x).
prefix-name
(OPTIONAL) Enter a configured prefix list name.
Defaults weight = 120

Syntax
distribute-list prefix-list-name in [interface]
To delete the filter, use the no distribute-list prefix-list-name in command.
