Usage Information By default, Dell Networking OS implements an optimized flush mechanism for PVST+. This implementation helps
in flushing the MAC addresses only when necessary (and less often) allowing for faster convergence during
topology changes. However, if a standards-based flush mechanism is needed, you can turn this knob command on
to enable flushing MAC addresses after receiving every topology change notification.
vlan bridge-priority
Set the PVST+ bridge-priority for a VLAN or a set of VLANs.
Syntax
vlan vlan-range bridge-priority value
To return to the default value, use the no vlan bridge-priority command.
Parameters
vlan
vlan-range
Enter the keyword vlan then the VLAN numbers. The range is from 1 to 4094.
bridge-priority
value
Enter the keywords bridge-priority then the bridge priority value in increments of
4096. The range is from 0 to 61440. The default is 32768.
Defaults 32768
