dot1x re-authenticate
Use the dot1x re-authenticate command in Privileged EXEC mode to enable
manually initiating a re-authentication of all 802.1x-enabled ports or the
specified 802.1x-enabled port.
Syntax
dot1x re-authenticate [gigabitethernet unit/slot/port | tengigabitethernet
unit/slot/port | fortygigabitethernet unit/slot/port]

This command has no user guidelines.
Example
The following command manually initiates a reauthentication of the 802.1x-
enabled port.
console# dot1x re-authenticate gigabitethernet 1/0/16
dot1x reauthentication
Use the dot1x reauthentication command in Interface Configuration mode
to enable periodic re-authentication of the client. To return to the default
setting, use the no form of this command.
Syntax
dot1x reauthentication
no dot1x reauthentication
