280 Address Table Commands
Commands in this Chapter
This chapter explains the following commands:
clear mac address-table
Use the clear mac address-table command in Privileged EXEC mode to
remove learned entries from the forwarding database.
Syntax
clear mac address-table dynamic [address mac-addr | interface interface-id |
vlan
vlan-id ]
• mac-addr — Delete the specified MAC address.
• interface-id — Delete all dynamic MAC addresses on the specified physical port
or port channel.
• vlan-id — Delete all dynamic MAC addresses for the specified VLAN. The range
is 1 to 4093.
