1764 User Interface Commands
do
Use the do command to execute commands available in Privileged EXEC
mode, Global Configuration and any config submode with command
completion. Command completion using the space bar is not available when
using this command. When in modes other than Global Configuration mode,
the do command will not appear in the list of commands shown in the help,
nor will prompting be available.
Syntax
do
line
do ?
line
Command to be executed. It should be an unambiguous command
from the Privileged EXEC mode. Commands such as
configure
are
forbidden. Command line completion for the line parameter is supported.
Users may only execute commands for which they have the appropriate
privileges.
Default Configuration
This command has no default configuration.
Command Mode
All except Privileged EXEC and User EXEC modes.
