Rear Panel Descriptions
The rear panel of the system contains the gigabit stacking ports and an AC power receptacle.
AC Power Receptacle
The switch automatically adjusts its power setting to any supply voltage in the range 90-240 volts AC.

The following sections describe methods you can use to manage the switch.
Web-Based Interface
After you have successfully installed the switch, you can configure the switch, monitor the LED panel, and display statistics graphically using a Web browser
like Netscape Navigator version 4.0 and higher or Microsoft®IE version 4.01 and higher.
Link/Act Mode
No 10/100-Mbps link is established.
A link is established on the port.
There is data transmission on the port.
Speed Mode
A 10-Mbps link is established or no link.
A 100-Mbps link is established on the port.
Duplex/Collision Mode
Port is operating on Half-Duplex mode or no link.
Port is operating on Full-Duplex mode.
Port is operating on Half-Duplex and a collision occurs.
Link/Act Mode
No 10/100/1000-Mbps link is established.
A link is established on the port.
There is data transmission on the port.
Speed Mode
A 10-Mbps or 100-Mbps link is established or no link.
A 1000-Mbps link is established on the port.
Duplex/Collision Mode
Port is operating on Half-Duplex mode or no link.
Port is operating on Full-Duplex mode.
Port is operating on Half-Duplex and a collision occurs.
Link/Act Mode
No link is established on mini-GBIC port.
A link is established on the mini-GBIC port.
Port is active.
Speed Mode
No link.
A 1000-Mbps link is established on the GBIC port.
Duplex/Collision Mode
No link.
Port is operating on Full-Duplex mode and the link is up.
NOTE: To access to the switch via a Web browser, the PC running the Web browser must have IP- based network access to the switch.
