Brightness Allows you to adjust the brightness or luminance of the backlight. Press the Contrast key to increase brightness and press the key to decrease brightness (min 0 ~ max 100). Allows you to adjust the contrast or the degree of difference between darkness and lightness on the monitor screen. Adjust brightness first, and adjust contrast only if you need further adjustment. Press the key to increase contrast and press the key to decrease contrast (min 0 ~ max 100).
Auto Adjust Use this key to activate automatic setup and adjust menu. The following dialog appears on a black screen as the monitor self current input: Auto Adjustment allows the monitor to self-adjust to the incoming video signal. After using Auto Adjustment, you can further tune your monitor by using the Pixel Clock (Coarse) and Phase (Fine) controls under Image Settings. NOTE: Auto Adjust does not occur if you press the button while there are no active video input signals or attached cables.
Input Source (for IN2030M Use the Input Source menu to select between different video signals that may be connected to your monitor. only) Auto Select VGA DVI-D COLOR SETTINGS Select Auto Select to scan for available input signals. Select VGA input when you are using the analog (VGA) connector. Push to select the VGA input source. Select DVI-D input when you are using the Digital (DVI) connector. Push to select the DVI input source. Use the Color Setting menu to adjust the monitor's color settings.
Input Color Format Preset Modes Allows you to set the video input mode to: l RGB: Select this option if your monitor is connected to a computer or DVD player using the HDMI cable or the HDMI to DVI adapter l YPbPr: Select this option if your DVD player supports only YPbPr output. Allows you to choose from a list of preset color modes.
l Standard: Loads the monitor's default color settings. This is the default preset mode. l Multimedia: Loads color settings ideal for multimedia applications. l Movie: Loads color settings ideal for movies. l Game: Loads color settings ideal for most gaming applications. l Text: Loads color settings ideal for office environment. l Warm: Increases the color temperature. The screen appears warmer with a red/yellow tint. l Cool: Decreases the color temperature.
Hue Saturation Allows you to adjust the skin tone of the image. Use or Allows you to adjust the color saturation of the image. Use to adjust the hue from '0' to '100'. or to adjust the saturation from '0' to '100'. Demo Mode You can launch the Demo Mode to identify the monitor display difference between Normal and Enhanced. Reset Color Settings Resets your monitor's color settings to the factory defaults. DISPLAY SETTINGS Use the Displays Settings menu to adjust the monitor's display settings.
Aspect Ratio Adjusts the image ratio as Wide 16:9, 4:3, or 5:4. NOTE: Wide 16:9 adjustment is not required at maximum preset resolution 1366 x 768 (for IN1930) or 1600 x 900 (for IN2030M) . Horizontal Position Use the or buttons to adjust image left and right. Minimum is '0' (-). Maximum is '100' (+). Vertical Position Use the or buttons to adjust image up and down. Minimum is '0' (-). Maximum is '100' (+). Sharpness This feature can make the image look sharper or softer.
Language Allows you to set the OSD display to one of six languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Simplified Chinese, or Japanese. Menu Transparency Allows you to adjust the OSD background from opaque to transparent. Menu Timer Allows you to set the time for which the OSD remains active after you press a key on the monitor. Use the Menu Lock and keys to adjust the slider in 1 second increments, from 5 to 60 seconds. Controls user access to adjustments.
LCD Conditioning This feature will help reduce minor cases of image retention. If an image appears to be stuck on the monitor, select LCD Conditioning to help eliminate any image retention. Using the LCD Conditioning feature may take some time. LCD Conditioning feature cannot remove severe cases of image retention or burn-in. NOTE: Use LCD Conditioning only when you experience a problem with image retention. The below warning message appears once user selects “Enable" LCD Conditioning.
Factory Reset Resets all OSD settings to the factory preset values. Personalize Select this option allows you to set two shortcut keys. Shortcut Key 1 User can select from "Preset Modes", "Brightness/Contrast", "Auto Adjust", "Input Source"(for IN2030M only), "Aspect Ratio" and set as shortcut key.
Shortcut Key 2 User can select from "Preset Modes", "Brightness/Contrast", "Auto Adjust", "Input Source"(for IN2030M only), "Aspect Ratio" and set as shortcut key.
Reset Personalization Allows you to restore shortcut key to the default setting.
This means that the monitor cannot synchronize with the signal that it is receiving from the computer. See Monitor Specifications for the horizontal and vertical frequency ranges addressable by this monitor. Recommended mode is 1366 x 768 (for IN1930) or 1600 x 900 (for IN2030M). You will see the following message before the DDC/CI function is disabled. When the monitor enters the Power Save mode, the following message appears: Activate the computer and wake up the monitor to gain access to the OSD.
If you press any button other than the power button the following messages will appear depending on the selected input: If VGA or DVI cable is not connected, a floating dialog box as shown below appears. The monitor will enter Power Save Mode after 5 minutes if left at this state. or See Solving Problems for more information. Setting the Maximum Resolution To set the Maximum resolution for the monitor: Windows XP: 1. Right-click on the desktop and select Properties.

Move the slider-bar to the right by pressing and holding left-mouse button and adjust the screen resolution to 1366 x 768 (for IN1930) or 1600 x 900 (for IN2030M). Click OK.

Assemble the stand riser to stand base. a. Place the monitor stand base on a stable table top. b. Slide the monitor stand body in the correct direction down onto the stand base until it clicks into place. 2.
WARNING: Before you begin any of the procedures in this section, follow the Safety Instructions. To connect your monitor to the computer: 1. Turn off your computer and disconnect the power cable. 2. Connect either the white (digital DVI-D) or the blue (analog VGA) display connector cable to the corresponding video port on the back of your computer. Do not use both cables on the same computer. Use both the cables only when they are connected to two different computers with appropriate video systems.
CAUTION: Do not use with any device other than the Dell Soundbar. To attach the soundbar: 1. Working from the back of the monitor, attach Soundbar by aligning the two slots with the two tabs along the bottom of the monitor. 2. Slide the Soundbar to the left until it snaps into place. 3. Connect the Soundbar with the DC power connector from the Soundbar Power Adapter. 4. Insert the mini stereo plug from the back of the Soundbar into the computer's audio output jack.
