Removing the hard disk drive

1 Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.

2 Remove the:

a base cover

b battery

3 To remove the hard disk drive (HDD):

a Disconnect the HDD cable from the system board .

b Remove the 4 M3x3 screws that secure the HDD to the palmrest [1].

c Lift the HDD from the computer [2].
