On the
Assign Node Template
window:
a
Select the node template you created in "Create a Node Template for
iSCSI Boot Nodes" on page 28.

Select the nodes you want to deploy as iSCSI boot nodes.

On the
Initiate Deployment
window, click
Deploy
to initiate iSCSI
deployment.

Use the following procedure to determine the correct time to turn on the
iSCSI boot node computers:
a
Navigate to
Node Management
Nodes
By Health
, click
Transitional
. All the iSCSI boot nodes you deployed must be listed.

Navigate to
Actions
Tab Actio ns
and click
Customize
.

In the list of available columns, click
Progress
, and then click
Add
.
d
Review the
Progress
column until you see the following entry for all
nodes:
Waiting for iSCSI boot nodes to boot and start
Windows setup.
e
After you see the entry for all nodes, turn on the iSCSI boot node
computers.
