BMC for Dell Server Tasks
Check Power Status
You can check the power status and allow power control tasks through the
IPMI shell.

In the Operations Console, navigate to a Dell diagram view.
2 Select the desired Dell system.
3 Expand the system.
4 Click BMC .
5 In the Actions pane, select BMC for Dell Server Tasks → Check Power Status .
Power Cycle
You can use this task to power cycle the server.

2 Select the desired Dell system.
3 Expand the system.
4 Click BMC .
5 In the Actions pane, select BMC for Dell Server Tasks → Power Cycle .
Forced Power Off
You can use this task to power off the server.

In the Operations Console, navigate to a Dell diagram view.
2 Select the desired Dell system.
3 Expand the system.
4 Click BMC .
5 In the Actions pane, select BMC for Dell Server Tasks → Forced Power Off.
